Exclamation 96 deville northstar weird problem

I have a 96 deville with northstar. recently after getting gas the car wont start. I have tried everything from testing relays and switching to new battery to get it to start. Nothing works. If I have just put power to the battery it will turn over but not start, like its fuel related. Yet, after 1 turnover nothing. Dash lights do not come on when key turned forward only gear selector light. (like its security related). I have went as far as replacing the ignition switch with no success only wasted money. I really have no clue on how to diagnose this problem. Any suggestions would really help, only car I have to drive right now and cannot afford the dealership or to have someone else do it. I am very mechanically inclined yet still clueless.

Any codes or messages in the message center?
Check the FAQ section here for info on how to get the codes. Sounds more like an electrical issue, such as a loose/corroded connection somewhere. Codes will help to get you pointed in the right direction.

does the starter click when u turn the key

if no
you could be having a problem with your theft system

if yes
you could have a problem with fuel pump
need to put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail

u need to make sure the ignition cylinder u replaced was done correctly
