Default Not Supported By PCM?

I was checking to see if I had any codes and getting this: PROM ID NOT SUPPORTED BY PCM

What would cause this and can/will it cause problems?

Does car has original ecm? You may need to take it to GM dealer to have checked out.

Possibly, with gm scanner you maybe able to get around it. Using onboard there is a good chance it will be a problem.
