Fuel Guage
I am working on a 99 Escalade at work and the FUEL PUMP quit working and the guage is stuck on 3/4 tank, I replaced the fule pump assembly and now the vehicle will start but the guage is still on 3/4 tank no matter how much gas is in the tank. Any common problems with the instrument panel in these? or any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, I forgot to mention this.
The new pump did come with a new electrical connection (different style) and I spliced it in according to associated letter (A-D).
New Plug (A-D): Orange/Black, Grey, Purple, Black. Old Plug (A-D): Purple, Grey, Black, Black.
