Default 93 DeVille

I have a 93 DeVille with 154000 mi in a 4.9/300 engine on it , I would like to replace it , how much am I looking to spend in such of endeavor ?
I’ve own the car for the last 16 years with little trouble but the engine sounds tired , the car for the most part is in good condition with small cosmetic blemishes .
There is a 2011 DTS that I have in mind but the overall cost will be much higher .
Your thoughts and opinions on this will be much appreciated .

I have owned many caddies, 3 of them having 4.9 engines, I think they are a bullet proof reliable engine, all of them with higher mileage than yours,
I sold a 92 Eldorado with over 200,000 miles on it, I still see it around 2 years later, if your motor sounds tired it could be front main bearing knock, this is quite
common with the 4.9, but doesn't seem to affect performance of car, I would keep it till it actually dies, as for the 2011 dts, I like the looks of them also,
but have not had good luck with the over rated (my opinion) northstar engine. Yes I have owned a northstar, fwiw, if the 2011 dts came with a 3.6 engine,
I would buy one .

Forgot to mention, I have owned a 2010 camaro and a 2014 Cadillac cts with the 3.6 liter Holden engine, it is a great engine.
