Does anybody know, which is the best battery for my 94 eldorado? Will install Optima but which one? I store the car during winter for approx 4 month so I need a battery which does not selfdrain to much. Here in germany I have no acces to a conversion list (AC versus other vendors).
Would appreciate a recommendation.

my Cadillac has a RED TOP Optima .. 4 months may be too long even for the optima and you may want to consider a trickle charger .. hope that helps ...

Yes I use the redtop as well, what a great battery. They are almost bullet proof when it comes to staying alive.The AC Delco just wouldn't stand up.

 

Thanks for the infos. I installed a used red top from a friend but i still have the problem of that slow battery drain. Does anybody have an idea, where to search the reason? All electrical systems are working normal, no lights on in the trunk or elswhere, no sign of an overheating electrical motor. I charge the battery and when i leave the car unused for approx 4 days, the battery is once more weak.
Appreciate any suggestions
