I just purchased an 2008 escalade with 65k on it. After leaving the dealership I noticed the trans shifting kind of hard (like a shift kit) but only sometimes. I brought to another dealer cause its under warranty and they told me that there's no codes they wont look at it cause the electronic transmissions are supposed to shift hard and its normal. I find that hard to believe that a 60 +++ thousand dollar SUV has a trans that is supposed to shift hard. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what can I do ? It doesnt shift hard all the time so thats why I feel this isnt right. Thanks in advance for the reply , Mark

 

Are there any other dealers in your area you could go to to have this checked out? If all else fails I would suggest having your dealer tech personnel talk with our Technical team. Hopefully that helps to get a good answer for you.
