Default STS delays starting

My 05 STS will not start every 4th or 5th time. Battery shows 14.4 volts and is new as of Jan 2, 11. Lights, radio, all come on initially and it shows accesories active. I have to keep braking and hitting start until it finally begins clicking and will start the engine. After start, radio will not work until you shut it off and start again. I had it hooked to a computer analyzer yesterday and it showed no errors or problems. HELP!

I hate to say this but it sounds like you need a trip to the dealer.

can the ignition switch be replaced without going to a mechanic? I also read on another site where someone was having the exact problem; they were told to check the ground to the engine block?
