Default 2010 SRX Premium Front Strut Conversion

I have had quite enough of the clumking in the front left suspension of this vehicle when going over small sharp bumps. Stabilizer bar/bushings and lower control arm were replaced with no effect, so my next step is to replace the struts. In the past I have done a very successful conversion to standard struts on a DTS, and want to try this on the SRX. This truck has FE3/F45 suspension, and I am having difficulty determining if these struts are magnetic or orifice types. I need to know this to determine what bypass resistor value will be required (I am seeing both 2 ohms and 50 ohms being used for the magnetic ones, if that's what I've got). So, has anyone out there done this conversion and know what the correct resistor value should be?
