Hey everyone, i have an 04 SRX with FE3 suspension. i have looked everywhere to see if i can put regular FE1 struts on the front to replace the FE3. I know i will need to put resistors in but are there certain shocks that i need. All the FE1 shocks from AC Delco, Sachs and Monroe have a different compressed and collapsed than the factory FE3. Does this really matter? i was looking to put in the AC Delco 580284. Or even the Sachs 312500 which don't show as specs. i read on here where they have put 540598 in there but dont want to spend that much as i just use this to bomb to work.
