Default Pop Trunk

i recently purchased two ten inch linear actuators for the trunk of my car. i have everything figured out on how i will wire them and mount them the only thing stopping me is the power trunk unlock switch. the car has to be in either park or neurtral for this feature to work but i need this to work while the car is in motion so that i can... u kno pop trunk on people lol. i know it prolly sounds funny to most but down here n da south thats what we do pop out trunks. Anyways can someone help me with bypassing this and possibly wiring in to the same switch i will be using for my actuators? This way i can just flip the switch and the trunk will unlock and raise with eaise. Someone please help!!

Sheeeet man that does sounds kinda funny. Up here in the north when we want to POP the trunk it's to get out the snow shovel, or the tire chains or that case of beer. Sounds like a lot of time and expense to me but whatever floats your boat. Sounds like you need a dude that really knows his auto electrics. Good luck with your poppin.

Easiest would be to wire in contact switch to trunk release relay in rear fuse box under rear seat.

slowroll is there anyway you can assist me in this? i thought i would be easier to just use a 12 volt tester and find out which wire in the plugs for the trunk is the hot wire. When i find the hot i would cut the hot wire and wire the end coming from the trunk release to my switch. Right? please help
