Default trunk release and gas door release

My trunk and gas button stop workink.I thought it would be as simple as a fuse.Turns out they are on mini relays and none of them are bad I have a 2000 deville dts. Anyone have suggestions?

This happened to me too once. Check to see if the valet switch is on. It should be in your glove box. This feature disables those functions so when somone is parking your car, they can't get into the truck.

I was just having this problem. Checked the fuses and they looked fine. Then came here and found this post. Oops! Turns out my girlfriend had hit the Valet button the other day while messing around. I totally forgot about that.

Thanks, Cadi forums, for saving me many hours of head scratching on a stupid problem.

People get so embarrassed when we tell them there car really isn't broke.
It's funny but not uncommon at all.

Hello. I checked the Valet Button. It's off. And still my trunk will not open with the Key Fob or the Dash Button. When I click the Key Fob , the tail lights flash two times. What does that mean ?
Any help would be Greatly Appreciated.
