Default 1996 SLS serpentine belt diagram

Woah! I was on this all day, even called Cadillac customer service headquarters; no help from anyone! The diagram is usually found on the inside of the engine compartment but if it's been removed for some reason you are gonna find yourself in the same situation I was in most of the day today.. no one will help you! LOL! I finally called a friend who has a 1998 with the same set up... These are not easy to install either! put your 1/2 inch rachet in the spaceon the tensioner wheel and get someone to hold it back for you while you insert the beltaround the back side of it! Heres the diagram... and I hope it saves you the misery I went through today! - is the belt, + are the wheels. A little out of proportion but you can easily see the pattern here ( Ihope!)

Happy motoring!

we can play connect the dots.
hey .. been there, done that ...
it is amazing how many combinations there are, but only one works.

when i had that problem i went to the local Kragens and picked up a Chilton,
found the diag, took out my camera phone -- CLICK -- put the book back and
problem licked.

There is nothing like having a Factory Manual. I now get those for every car
i buy. The $30 spent on the manual, pays for itself the first time it gets used.

note:
a Factory Manual is not a Chilton.
