Just bought a 1991 DeVille. Not sure if it has BOSE system. I think not b/c it doesn't say BOSE anywhere. Stereo worked fine when purchased. First the front and rear speakers started to hiss a bit when the stereo was on, but the volume turned all the way down. Then last week the stereo turns on but the speakers just hiss. The area that displays the radio station is also blank. Any thoughts?

I have a 90 deville, had it for over 2 years. When I purchased the only thing wrong was the stereo would hiss. 2 days after later it quit for about a year and now does it . I have been told its one of the speakers. I think it may be the antena, Im not much help, but maybe someone else will see this and help.

I'd check for a loose antenna connection......
