My 1990 Sedan Deville has developed rust-through on the front wheel wellsnear the base of both front strut towers. I am planning to have a local body shop clean up the rusted areas and fill them with fiberglass. I'm concerned however about the integrity and strength of the strut towers. They seem fine visually (except for the wheel well rust), and the car drives normally.
