run without TPMS?
#2
you can drive with out the TPMS. It was just a mandated thing Bush passed in 2006 to have all vehicles sold in the US to have these on there to help "Fuel Economy" and have safe inflated tires. If you can deal with the TPMS dash light then dont worry about the sensors. The bad thing is places like wal-mart if they see TPMS on the vehicle they automatically put new ones on and charge you no matter what. unless you state you dont want them replaced then they have you sign a waiver so you cant sue them for not replacing the sensor. When i was trained to replace them they say if you take the tire off the rim the sensor has to be replaced. So keep that in mind when you take your car in to have tire work done.
