Default groaning from rear end??

Hello all... grat way to break the ice in a new forum, ask a question!

Just bought a 2007 STS and I notice that when I make a tight turn forward or backward or a U turn I hear a groaning from the rear end? I am not sure what kind of rear end Cadillac uses I have heard a very simular sound from an old clutch style sure grip rear end in a Mopar and some special aditive makes it go away. I will probably take it in and have it checked but thought I would see if anyone knows of any normal issues.
