Will a faulty MAP Sensor cause engine knock?
#11
I know the problem with engine.
After lifting the vehicle of sub-frame (only using a jack, jack stands, and wood) and rolling it from underneath the vehicle, (with a dolly) I managed to completely disassemble the engine.
The engine was knocking because of two paper thin connecting rod bearings.
I found half a piston ring chopped into pieces at the bottom of the oil pan.
Before disassembling, it was overheating and oil viscosity was to thin.
Smelt like fuel in oil. Oil & fuel was on spark plugs.
It never dripped oil but did loose oil.
What are possible causes of all headaches listed above?
If you are on Facebook Search Landis Cordell Ballenger. I have over 200 pictures and videos that show how I managed to completely disassemble the engine. Also, the car is primed black because I will paint it after I repair it. It was my first time priming a car and my first time disassembling a engine. I have to replace a few things to get it running STRONG. I also plan on STUDDING THE ENGINE BLOCK.
