I am getting a fault code and general symptoms of a bad MAP Sensor (poor idle quality, rich running, sluggishness) I am not seeing the MAP anywhere under the hood of this car. All the locator guides I come across say passenger fender but not on this car. The underhood emission decal vacuum diagram does not even show a MAP, also there is a plastic tube about 5/16 in diameter attached to the braces under the hood that is just hanging open.....maybe its supposed to be attached to that?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bill

 

Hey D: From what I can tell in my diagrams, the Map hose comes directly out of the rear of the DFI throttle body. Trace the hose to see where it goes from there. I think it will be under the passenger side dash area near the ECM. Did you see any other codes that were in the diagnostics?? EGR valve is common on the rough idle too. Hope this helps.
