I have just reread all of these post. I don't want to be rude but I have to wonder why.

The Chrysler is not even in the same league as a Cadillac, Its like playing in the show and being compared to a careerAAA player, ya you're both pros...... We all got sucked in, 300C and Cadillac, it's just plain wrong to mention them both in the same sentence. If a Chrysler executive was reading this post they'd be jumping up an down.

Note to self: don't get sucked into comparing Cadillac to inferior products anymore.

IMHO, the thread doesnt compare the cars, but the power of the cars.

Cadillacs are neat and there is something that makes you feel good when you are behind a wheel of one regardless of the age.

Chrysler "300's" are "beast's" and it's a whole different feeling! (But also great.)

You do have to ask yourself however, "What in the heck does GM want to make a "Cadillac Esplanade Hybrid" for?

Stealth, I can accept your take on this but again we don't need a thread to know, 345 HP vs. 300 HP, ok the gas sucking hog HEMI has more power.

OK .. let me respond directly.

The 08 DTS is a different class altoghether and should you decide to get one, you will forever wonder why it took so long. The 300 is not a luxury hot rod, the DTS is. I be looking at the STS or the CTS, specially the "V" series, instead of the DTS, but eveyrone has their preferences. You want a luxury BEAST? look at the CTS-V, you will never ever miss that 300 after that.

Unless we are talking about 1970's Hemi cars, their time came and went.
This opinion comes from a MOPAR fanatic that to this day, keeps a MOPAR tool set, and has owned several 1970's MOPAR machines ... ... me.

Take the step up, get a got that "turns you on when you turn it on", ride with class here on !
