My outside temperature must to be resetting on my cadillac srx 2005,

My outside temperature tell me it will freeze outside when we are in summer,temperature gage follow the up and down of wheater but never with the good degree.I think it will have to be reset for give me the good outside temperature.Thank you for your help.
