Default Been too long

Hey Caddy Fans!
I'm in my late 30s and I speak for the older Caddy appreciation set. I live and motor in MN, and it appears to me, Cadillac does quite well here due to so many from all eras on the road, despite costs of maintaining and GM's history of putting product out that is flawed, trying to compete with Lexus and Mercedes has forced the American heavyweight to rethink how to reinvigorate interest. Performance and up scale trucks seemed to have worked but I still feel much has been lost since the 70s when Cadillacs sold well being just what they were... large, affordable status symbols of American Luxury. I can go on and on about what I like about Cads, but suffice to say, I currently have two 1988 Devilles I came on by chance and did own a 1984 black/red Biarritz Eldo that was my first love. Hoping for an '84/'85 convertible in the not too distant future. Also love the STSs, and Allantes stand to stick out in Caddy history as well... The stepping stone to the 90s for GM's re-thinking.

My topic title refers to me having to re-register because I'd been away for too long. Love this forum. Excellent! BTW, I'm looking for unique Cad Hot-rodding ideas to give Cadillac the 'Hot-rod Lincoln' moniker to wear!!
