acceoperator cable keeps coming off while driving could this be why my car keeps smoking? I just had my transmission and motor replaced water pump etc.. I spent $3,500 all together only to get the car back and when I start it up and put it in reverse it bucks violently same thing with putting it in drive.but after driving a few minutes it starts smoking at first I thought it might be leaked oil burning off my motor from them replacing it but soon after noticed that accelerator cable wasn't on.motor and transmission is covered under warranty but I want to make sure I know exactly what the issue is before I take it back to that shop cuz I feel like they got over on me and knowing is half the battle
