Ac/Defrost In-op Help! please

Default Ac/Defrost In-op Help! please

Hell im new to this forum, but I need some help! i have a 99 seville sts and my ac dosent work. I have done some h.w. and was able to pull up codes, the code I got was ipm b1344 which is ac/defrost door movement my question is does anybody know how to fix this? my symptoms are no ac, defrost and when i try switching through the different positions ex. feet, top vent, defrost etc. it doesnt switch it just blows from the bottom and top, and i believe my rear ac doeant work either please help Thanxx Cadillac Kita

Oh yea forgot to tell you that but my heater and blower are going strong bt no a/c and heat is starting to get into those triple digits : (

You may have a bad door actuator. Its the motor that switches the door in the air box to different settings based on what you select on the control panel. Or worst case something broke or binding inside the heater box itself. Not super common but does happen. Ac not working could be the result of that but could also be a low charge in the system. Or codes in the computer can keep the compressor from turning on. Does it display low refrigerant on the dash when you turn the ac on?

No, when I turn on my ac I here a click from under hood I think thats my compressor turning on.
Also when I turn on my car I acn hear little motors running under dash prolbly those actuators you were talkin about, does that mean that they are working?
