tuen signal cancel cam

tuen signal cancel cam
I had the steering wheel off of my 97 Deville and things taken apart all the way past the locking plate to replace a little spring in the turn signal. As I was taking it apart, there were two wires that I am sure went to the horn (it worked before I took it apart). One was ground and the other went into a piece of plastic that is part of the turn signal cancel cam. You are supposed to have to turn this 90 degrees to take it out but as it turned out it was broken also. Now on putting it back together I have no way to hold that spring loaded contact into where it is supposed to go so the horn no longer works. That cancel cam has been discontinued by GM and I have not been able to find an after market one. Any help on how to put that contact in and keep it there while I reassemble the other stuff so the horn will work or hopefully where I could get a new cancel cam? Thank you, Bruce.
