When I purchased this car, knowing it would be a project, it came with a few challenges that are right at that level of experience that I need help on. The first is a speedometer cable (aftermarket from the "orient") that was cable only....no jacket. Can I disconnect this from under the dash, or will I have to remove most of the pads and covers just to get to it? Can someone walk me thru this? Secondly, it has a mind of it's own....the trunk didn't come with a key, and the vac*** mechanism in the glove box is the only way I can open the trunk (but of course the car needs to be running)....any help on troubleshooting this? And Lastly, there are a few vac*** hoses under the hood that were never hooked back up after the Engine replacement.....anyone have a diagram or experience on which hose goes where?
