Have a friend wanting me to perform an oil pan gasket change on 1990 4,5 litre deVille. Have some mechanical skill but virtually all experience is with German Cars, primarily sports cars/racers. Question is what is required to change this? Have great tools so no worries there - including motor lift and so on. Can anybody give me at least a general DIY if not a solid stepwise with torque values?? Does the motor require lifting? Does subframe require dropping? Any special precautions????
