Hello Everyone, I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get my hands on the Vortec V8 6 Litre engine teardown specs. Preferably Free and online. I have just purchased a 2002 Escalade from GM @ 60,000 kilometers. Though I am familiar with the engine as a whole I want to know if the Vortec 6 Litre is interchangable, compatiable with a Chevy V8. The intake manifold being dry and made of Phenolic Resin Construction. I would not mind looking at the internal components and see how it ticks without taking it apart. Just curious I guess.
