Concerning a refreshening of Cadillac Allante 4500 engines and other GM aluminum engines ...

Been going over some old magazines, old posts and various notes collected over the years, the service manual and have been jotting down questions about engine rejuvenating. Some are 4.x related, others are general. They're in no particular order. My '92 Cadillac is under 100,000 miles, so hopefully none of this will be applicable for another 25 years, at the current rate of driving. Estimated that she will now get around 4,000 miles per year.

All of the A: answers were provided a GM DriveTrain Engineer.
