intake pop and p085 code
Minimum Air Rate or base idle is where you have to start. Once that is correct or verified to be correct, then TPS can be learned. Which should zero reading in PD01, then Idle relearned. If all goes well your E85 goes away.
I over-rode the PS03 ISC Actuator. Nextengine speed was flashing between 475and 500, and PD01 was at -4.3 degrees. So the speed is good, and TPS degree is bad. I was told that if I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes, it will re-learn idle. I disconnected the negative cable, 10 minutes later reconnected, no change in nothing.
Somewhere else I saw an idle relearn like, startengine and leave AC on high for 10 minutes, turn AC off, stop enigne, start engine and leave run for 20 minutes... I didn't do this because it looks like 30 minutes of wasted gasoline.

Went PS13, pressed cooler button, nothing happened. So, do you mean in overwrite PMC? Tried it anyway, relearned idle. Check engine line went out, then got a PS080 code. Did it again, Check engine light went out, and cleared codes from history. I did notice that at idle the PD01 is -2.3, but if the PMC doesn't care, neither do I. Twice around the block, a couple of miles, no Check engine light. I think it's temporary though as a negative throttle degree while the engine is running...who knows? Will keep you posted either way. Thanks for the many, many postsof help. What about an FSM???

Oh-yea. I guessed at what re-learn idle was from other web-sights as it's not on this one and Chiltons says to do it, but doesn't say what it is.
Warm engine up. Stop engine
Turn key on/off three times (on and off counts as one)
Start engine, let run for 3 minutes.
Keep engine running, turn on A/C for next three minutes.
With both A/C and engine running, put into gear for five more minutes.
Does that look correct? If not, it somehow worked. The sevice engine light went out on last step and the LO for themiles to empty would show numbers and start working again a few seconds later.
Thanks again...

To relearn TPS after reset.
1) Turn key to run. Enter diagnostics.
2) Turn key off. Wait 30 sec.
3) repeat steps 1 & 2 three times
To relearn idle:
1) Start engine and let idle for atleast 10 min.
2) If on turn off A/C off. Shift into drive, wait 3 min.
3) With car still in drive. Set A/C set at 60, turn A/C on wait 3 min. (with A/C set at 60, compressor should stay engaged any not cycle, blower should be on high)
4) Shift in to park and turn off.
TPS and Idle should now be relearned

Gotta couple of questions... Can you be more specific on resetting the TPS, PMC Monitor or Over-ride? Will anything change when the cooler button is pushed that is obvious like "tps pintle reset to 0.0 degrees" would be cool.
Secondly, any word on what you can do for me in regards to an FSM, or if you don't want to, that's cool too.
The good news, I got my 3rd eye brake light 100% operational, was at 33%. I was thinking of posting the process I did, think that'd be ok?
The next thing I want to fix is the drivers and both back door windows do not work. Everything quit working pretty close together, and this wasn't a family car with kids rolling them up and down. I bypassed the switch, and only the front passenger window would work. All the others looked like they were pulling some juice as the wired sparked, but no movement. I thought I'd start with passenger rear one first. Any thoughts??
Thanks again, thank-you for the help, very sincerely, this has been a fantastic adventure for meso far, I really do appreciate it!

P080 TPS / IDLE LEARN not complete. Learning TPS will let ecm learn what TPS voltage is at closed throttle, should result in 0 degree reading after its learned. You reset TPS in PS13 - cleared ecm's memory of tps base reading. You just did not follow it up correctly. Factory Service Manual there are 2 volumes for 1994 DeVille, Concours, Eldorado, & Seville. Volume 1 - Powertrain Volume 2 - Chasis & Body It will contain 90% of what you need to know to repair you car. Used ones are availible on ebay and through used manual venders on net. Prices vary, information can be priceless if you stuck. Unfortunately I cant hook you up with them, I have no spares.
