Car wont start-Need Help
I have a 2000 DTS, it was runing perfectly last night. I parked and went inside. This morning the car would not start, the door locks would not work, the radio wont come on, the heater controls wont even come on. The dash will light up, i even jumped the battery, the battery is fine. Need help
ok when u turn the key what happens do u hear the fuel pump ?
do u hear the engine cranking?
does any of the lights on dash come on?
when u use the door locks do they work? not the remote
does the headlights turn on and r bright?
check the battery cables make sure they r tight to start. if u have a meter put it on the battery and read the voltage.
then leave the meter on the battery try and start the car and read the voltage.

Yes I did look at the message on the dash, it said votage was fine. I tried to jump the vehicle, nothing happened. When you turn the key nothing happens. If you have the key in the on position, the dash lights up, but the radio doesnt come on at all, nor does the heater control unit. The door locks dont work, if your pressing the lock/unlock button, nothing happens.
I had my wife check the gas button and the trunk button, they donyt even work. Do you think it has something to do with the starter? If the starter is bad would it disabe the radio and the door locks?

Working Now!!
So I went back out to mess with the car, I removed the rear seat and checked the fuses, took a few out and placed them back. I noticed a clicking sound coming from one of the relays, so I just disconnected the negative cable, and I believe the (RIM) module. Re plugged the module and reconected the battery. The car started-Go Figure.

read eghost thread in our FAQ, apply the subject dielectric stated in the eghost thread or the problem will likely come back.
