Hi ive been dealing with an issue on my 05 Cadillac STS v8 Northstar for a few weeks now. It has a NEW Battery so I know thats not the Issue.
For some reason I go to start my STS and the battery is completely drained!! I charge it up go to push the start button and everything on dash lights up for a split second then goes completely black. Battery looses power. I thought it was the starter so I replaced it and still car wont start. It seems as if something is shorting out the battery.
I should mention the driver door wont unlock or open from the outside. Lock went out few weeks ago when car got pressure washed. So Im wondering if maybe the security system is the problem?? ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. THANK YOU!!!
