hi to everyone out there , i recently purchased a 81 caddy seville last year , here in australia , this is just a general question , the vehicle drives nice , tho it does have super light steering , is this just normal for this type of vehicle ? , and nothing to be concrned about ? , ive noticed that have a steering damper in use of this system , if i was to change the damper , would it have an impact on the lightness of steering , ? or does it have little affect in this area , , further more , the vehicle still employs the air shock rear setup , do you normally revert to standard shocks in this area ? thanks , luke , from down under

 

welcome car has very light steering. Changing dampener wont really change anything. You maybe able to swap steering box for one with higher effort.
