Exterior power/heated mirrors for '95 Caddy STS
When my Caddy STS was at my mechanics shop waiting for the diagnosis of why I had a complete brake failure on the HWY recently, someone stole the drive motor and other parts from my drivers side exterior mirror! I am now faced with having to buy a used mirror, having it painted and installed.
Can someone tell me how to remove the mirror and if a Caddy Deville or Eldorado of the same year (1995) will fit my STS.
If there is anyone on the forum that has or knows of a mirror available please contact me...I need a dark green one.
Regards,
Ron

Eldo mirror should work, check with dealer if stolen parts are serviced separately. 3 nuts hold mirror on door, once interior trim panel is removed.

Thank you for your note...the mounting tabs for the motor is now broken....I was thinking that it would be easier to buy a good used mirror, paint it and install...rather than fool around trying to fix the damagedone.
The 3 bolt bolts that secure the mirror to the door...are they located behind the black triangular panel behind the mirror mount on the inside of the car? How does one remove that small panel?

To remove door panel remove bezel at interior handle and switch panel. Remove hidden screw. At rear lower of door part of there is a hidden screw behind map pocket. Then LIFT panel DO NOT PULL panel off. If you pull on panel if and *#^&$ it up, interior door panels cost $400+ for new one.It in doubt take to dealer.
