Desperately looking for some help here. I own a 2001 STS and the Service Theft System message is on the DIC. One of my kids kicked the key while in the ignition climbing over the seat and now it won't start. Is there a remedy beyond a tow and service call to a dealership?

 

yeah you dont have to take it anywhere you can do it yourself i have had this done on my eldorado1997, use the door key to unlock and lock the car, unlock the car with the key, turn the ignition to the on postion for about 3-5 min and than turn off lock door with key unlock door with key and than go to start the car, that is wat i had to do with mine see if that works or call cadillac service or parts they should help you over the phone
