Does anyone know if the 99 deville's have issues with their factory alarms or wiring? I just bought a deville with 70k on it and the factory alarm hasnt been working very great and i thought it was b/c of the remote so i left the alarm off overnight. When i got into the car today to start it the alarm horn just goes off with the car running and when i turn the key switch off then it stops.

I have replaced the factory remote battery with a new one and the remote still does not work. I have the #2 remote and do not have any other ones for it.

I have also noticed that the driver, passenger, and driverside rear door locks swtich all do not work like they should, so Im lost as to what could be wrong and am worried i bought into a big problem.

Any insight will help thank you all in advance

 

I also forgot to mention and i dont know if this matters but i hooked up a cd player in the car a couple of days ago and i dont know if this has anything to do with it either, the cd player stays on constantly unless i turn the unit off itself.

 

OK well i got if figured out and ill put the answer to the problem so that if anyone else has this same problem they have a reliable source
