Question 1999 Cadillac Seville will not start

My 1999 cadillac seville is not starting. The starter was replaced about a year ago and the battery is no more than 5 months old. The car was starting poor the day prior and now it will not even turn over. There is no sound except for the battery making a clicking noise. I assume the relay is causing this noise. When the car was having problems starting it seemed to be making a noise along side of the passenger seat near the door (like power was being drained). Earlier in the day when the engine was starting poor, there was a small pop that seemed to come from the area of the fuse box under the hood. If anyone could help with suggestions or areas to check for grounds or such it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Randy

have you tryed to jump car, and does it start then? have you checked and rechecked battery connections? have you pulled codes? does it start right up at times, and then doesn't? what climate is the car in, and how many miles? does the car have any other electrical issues?

the "POP" could have been a power ground connection arching .. check grounds.
