04 Northstar Cylinder numbering
I have an 04 Pontiac Bonneville GXP with the Northstar engine. I have a misfire and I know that it's an ignition coil. I got the code and it's cylinder #7.
The problem is which one is cylinder #7? Is it on the furthest to the drivers side of the car along the firewall, or is the the furthest to the drivers side of the car closer to the radiator. I've searched the internet for hours and can't seem to find the answer.
Thanks

Thanks for that. I replaced the coil. Now it only misfires above 4000 RPM and at I would say above 80% throttle (both of those have to happen in order for it to misfire). If I back off the throttle just a tiny bit, it stops, If I give back just that little bit, it does it again. Engine light flashed but turns off and has a pending code of P0307 - Cylinder 7 misfire. Below the 2 conditions I mentioned, it runs fine.
