Default over heating

I have a 1996 Eldorado with 65000 miles.Just drove it 150 miles round trip. 2 times going and on return it tried to overheat. As I slowed down in returned to normal to temp. Last 50 miles at 70MPH was fine. Took to dealer and they said it was leaking into combustion chamber and head gaskets were probably the problem. Cost $3000. Saw a product called heal a seal. Need advice. Drove car on few short trips (2-4 miles) and seems fine.

Probably ?

how did the dealer come to a "probably" type of conclusion?
