Default Snow/Winter Tires for 2005 STS RWD

Greetings,

Does anyone know where I can get snow/Winter tires for my 05 STS RWD (V6)??? As most of you know the tire sizes are different from front to back and I can't seem to find a comperable size for the rears (255/45). Tire rack indicated to use 235/50 all the way around but thought that might create issues with ABS and handling....besides, I wanted to use my stock wheels for the snow tires and purchase new wheels for my non winter (performance) set. Any help would be appreciated...

Also, does anyone know if a regular (non winter) same size tire can be installed on all 4 without compromising safety/performance???

Thanks!

Geez I'd like to help but I have the STS4 couple with the performance package so all my tires are the same size. I can tell you that the Michelin Pilots I had were pretty decent in the winter.
