Default project car - STS w/flood damage

Katrina Cadillac
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just got it, 88 miles, got new keys but key fob not recognized, looks great, some moisture under rear passenger side carpet, bump on rear right truck lid, 2 inch cut on rear passenger side wheel opening (fender),

Car looks and smells new.... Oil looks new, computer appears good i.e., no key fob detected, milage prompts come up....CD loads and displays, exterior, interior lights work, door locks work...

Water-present evidence: moisture under carpets (rear), jack had a little bit of corrosion at hinge points), seat springs show corrosion
What doesn't work, start button, sun roof, brake lights when brakes are pushed, windows up/down, car seat adjustments...

Looking to: check all fluids, pull seats & carpets, check all electrical connections (fuses/plugs/connectors/wires/cables, etc.),
pull ECM to check for water evidence/damage,

Take ECM w/key, w/fob, w/paperwork to GM dealer so he can match fob to car and then try to start it.
Looking for ideas? recommendations other to-do's prior to starting?

Your feedback is appreciated.
