Default Drivers Door

I purchased a 2005 STS a little over a month ago. It has the FOP which allows the front doors to open automatically when you approach the vehicle. 2 days ago I went to get in and the drivers door wouldn't unlock. I hit the unlock button and it still won't open. All 3 other doors operate correctly. So, now I have the pleasure of opening the drivers door with the key. I have searched the owners manual but have had no luck finding anything that might correct this. I guess it's possible there is an actual problem with the door but thought I'd try this before taking it to a dealership and having them laugh me out the door because it was something dumb.

yes, I had the exact same problem, on the exact same car. The dealer said the sensor on the driver's door had corrosion on it. They replaced the switch, and all is well.
