Winshield Wiper
This moring after and ice storm I turned on the windshield wipers (car was outside). One wiper moved and did its job the other did not. I assume the drivers side wiper is stripped. So what has been the best remedy for this problem. I can think of three
1) Get a new arm
2) Drill a hole in the old arm and wiper motor stud and put a roll pin in it
3) Lock tight the arm and motor stud with bearing and stud loctight
Can anyone else think of any better solutions?

You will probably have to get a new arm. I have seen several situations similar to that and in the end just got a new arm. Luckily the posts that the arm is attached to usually stand up to the stress better then the arm and doesn't need replacing. I would rather buy a new arm then try to fix it by any other mean so I would know thatif my wife is driving down the highway in the rain with the wipers on high the arm won't come off.
