So the trunk latch (1995 SLS) temporarily stopped working. The trunk popped open while the car was parked in the garage, then refused to shut for about 8 hours. Then the metal latch part that pulls it shut, moved back up and now it works again. Any thoughts?

happend to my 97 STS also, replaced the Mechanism fixed it, not sure why it happened, toyed around with it greased it checked power to it, probablly just the motors where out
