So you think i should replace the sockets? Could that be the possible reason for the fast blinking? I'm still baffled as to why when i turn on the fog lights, they don't blink.

 

I did not say to replace it said check dim lamp. sockets go bad because ground terminal is faulty. Fog lamps and front turn/park lamps share the same ground, so if the front lamp is the dim one you mentioned look there. If it not check it along with front lamp. Feed back voltage from faulty ground circuits can cause a variety of problems
