Why could this be happening, could this be the alternator?
The car will shut off while I am driving.

Hey Aron: Have heard of this before and was lead to believe that it was due to the crankshaft sensors. Not sure if it is a do it yourself job or one for the dealer. Hope this helps.

Just bought my 02 Seville and having the same issue. About 2 times a week the car will die when driving. Did you ever find the issue?-Shane

CKP Sensors gets faulty in Cadillacs between '00-03 with Northstar equipped vehicles.If you are handy you can do it but I would take it to the dealer
