Default e-brake.....

cant get the e-brake 2 disengage on my 94 sts...... any ideas?

There is a manual release on the mechanism. You have to get down and low and poke yourself under the dash. It is a lever on the pedal mechanism. You pull it to release, then get some WD-40 and lubricate the assembly.

Sounds like the same release on the 93 allante, once you find it the first time you'll never forget where it's at.

As far as I know after '98 vacuum operated e-brake gone due to problems .I have a 2000 STS w/o vacuum operated unlike my previous '96
