Default RE: aftermarket audio system

Bose Speakers have different ohm's than aftermarket head units. Need different speakers probably.

Default RE: aftermarket audio system

BOSE speakers carry their own amps within each speaker enclosure and
the main unit is a pre-amp.. other audio systems do not and the amp is in
the main unit.

once you understand that, you know what needs doing for what you want.

IF you change out the BOSE, it is likely that your rear BOSE also fit other cars
and are worth some change.
FYI - Allante (1987 - 1992) guys are always looking for replacements and I beleive
they may be 99% identical (except for a couple of mounting tabs).
- dont quote this as expert advice .. but as a possibility -
