Default 2001 STS transmission / Motor mount
Well my STS has 65K on it and Im looking to sell it but when accelerate from a stop there is a kick that feels like its coming from the floor board. Do these cars have transmission mount or motor mount problems? I'm guessing its one of the two, does anyone have price quotes on this kind of work from the dealer?

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FRONT ENGINE MOUNT IS SHOT. I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAD IT REPLACED AT MY LOCAL REPAIR SHOP IN N.Y. COST $260
