Default 1987 cadillac brougham losing power

I need some help I have a 1987 cadillac brougham 307 5.0 Olds engine. Ever since about a year or so my car has had this hesitation it'll happen after driving it for a while where if I brake the car seems to want to turn off it loses a lot of power. I've tried several things. I tried plugging the egr line and it still did it also its straight muffler so no catalytic converter I've changed spark plug wires I've cleaned the carburetor I've Seafoamed it I've driven it on 3 and no luck any suggestions I really would want this fixed no mechanic has been able to figure it out

Have you checked the air idle valve or any of your vacuum lines? i had a similar problem on an old nova and one of my vacuum lines had been pulled free. Could also be a bad vacuum line going to the break booster. let me know if this helps!!

Hey
I am having the same issue... the car would start and if i floor it, it would turn off and lose power..

Also if i drive it slow its okay however once it starts catching fuel, it seems to turn off and stop getting fuel until i hit the gas pedal a few times..

I changed spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter and will be changing the fuel pump this weekend....

any help?
