Default 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Not Charging!

I have a 69 Fleetwood I bought a few days ago, after driving it a few days I noticed that when I went to start it the battery sounded like it was going dead. Well I had the battery tested it was good. I went about bought a new alt and installed it, still would not charged the battery, then went about bought a new voltage regulator put it on today, still not charging the battery. Any ideas...... Going back to Afghanistan soon and I really want to spend time driving my new car!

Default Charging

Is the alternator well grounded to the block?? On the older cars grounding points are so important. I would methodically find all your grounding points under the hood and remove, clean, and use dieelectric grease before reassembly.Get yourself a small wire brush for the job and then tighten everything well. I know you want to be driving but these old girls need constant attention. Just like your woman.
